High Drama was first witnessed at quarter past two in the afternoon, when Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh first came up to the reporters' table which is right below the presiding officer's chair and sat on it raising slogans, he was soon joined by his protesting colleagues who were wearing black bands on their sleeves.

Vice-Chairperson Bhubaneswar Kalita adjourned the house for 15 minutes, however when it was reconvened protest and the noisy scene continued to disrupt the house and the house was adjourned again.

When the house reassembled again at about two-thirty and Kalita tried to bring the house in order, however, this time Congress members led by MP Pratap Singh Bajwa and Ripun Bora trooped into the well with sloganeering and they climbed on the reporter's table.

Soon others like Deepender Hooda, Rajmani Patel, CPI's Binoy Viswam, and CPI's V Sivadasan also joined them around the reporter's table and in the midst of all this, Bajwa was then seen throwing an official file at the Chair. The house was then adjourned till 3.03 pm and eventually till tomorrow.
