Congress cadre across the country hits the streets against ED summons to Rahul Gandhi

MUMBAI: Congress leaders and workers took to the streets in large numbers across the country against Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioning Congress national president Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case.

In Delhi, hundreds of Congress workers and senior leaders, including Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Randeep Surjewala and K C Venugopal, took to the streets alleging that the BJP government in the Centre was targeting the opposition by misusing agencies.

The leaders said that the massive show of strength by the party is their 'Satyagraha' against the ED summons and will continue till the time the ED continues to question their leader.

Rahul Gandhi was questioned for over 10 hours by the ED in a money-laundering probe linked to the National Herald newspaper and was called to depose again on Tuesday.
