Govinda's wife Sunita, debunks rumors of them getting divorced

MUMBAI: In the past few days, the internet has been abuzz with rumors of Bollywood star Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, getting divorced. However, these rumors have been debunked by Sunita herself, who shut down all speculations with a video that quickly went viral.

In the viral video, Sunita addressed the speculation, stating that no one can separate her from Govinda. She explained that their living arrangements, which involve staying in separate houses, were due to practical reasons related to Govinda's political career and their daughter's upbringing.

Sunita clarified that when Govinda joined politics, their house was frequently visited by party workers, prompting them to set up an office space nearby to maintain privacy at home. She emphasized that their relationship remains strong despite the rumors.

She said, living separately means that when he joined politics, our daughter was growing up, and many party workers used to visit our home. She also said that now that their daughter was grown up, they were free to move around freely at home in our shorts, so we took an office space right in front of our house. If anyone in this world thinks they can separate me and Govinda, let them come forward and try.

She shared that she and Govinda mostly stay separately since he often spends nights at his bungalow after late meetings and gatherings. Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987 and share two children, Tina and Yashvardhan. Despite recent speculations, Sunita assured fans that their bond is unbreakable and that they continue to support each other.

Sunita also added that the couple have two houses one was their apartment and a bungalow opposite it. She said, "I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat, whereas he gets home late after his meetings. He loves talking, so he'll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Meanwhile, my son, my daughter, and I live together, but we hardly talk because I feel you end up wasting your energy by talking too much."
