Salman Khan takes COVID-19 vaccine at Mumbai hospital

MUMBAI: After his industry colleagues like Paresh Rawal, Saif Ali Khan, Kamal Haasan, Hema Malini etc., Bollywood actor Salman Khan today confirmed that he took the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in a Mumbai hospital. The actor took to Twitter, "Took my first dose of vaccine today...." he tweeted.
Actor Sanjay Dutt had also received his received first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday. The 61-year-old actor had posted a picture of himself getting the jab at the city's BKC vaccine centre on his Twitter account.
Earlier in the day, Salman Khan who turned day fifty-five in December was snapped with his security guards entering Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital which is close to his house and a video had gone viral on social media.
Along with Actor Amir Khan, Bollywood personalities like actor Ranbir Kapoor, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actors Manoj Bajpayee, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Satish Kaushik. Meanwhile, recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Salman is likely to soon begin work on the third franchise of his hit film Tiger starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi to be directed Maneesh Sharma. The first two films of the franchise were Ek Tha Tiger (2012), directed by Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar directed the second part, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).
Salman had wrapped the recent season of Bigg Boss in February and was seen on the premiere episode of the Indian Pro Music League.
