Aashiqui fame actor Rahul Roy suffers minor brain stroke

MUMBAI: Actor Rahul Roy who is best known for his role in
the Mahesh Bhatt's 1990 musical romantic film Aashiqui reportedly suffered a
mini stroke while shooting for a film at Kargil in the union territory of
Ladak, and has been admitted in the ICU of Mumbai's Nanavati hospital.
The 52-year-old actor, Roy had finished shooting for his
role as a major in the film LAC - Live the Battle being produced and directed
by Nitin Kumar Gupta, and had stayed back for a few days to spend some time in
the hilly areas however in four days later Gupta found out that Roy was unwell
and had some cognitive impairments most common symptoms of stroke.
Roy was rushed to local hospital but due to lack of advanced
medical facility he was air lifted to Mumbai and rushed to Nanavati hospital
where is condition is now said to stable and he is recovering well.
The upcoming movie LAC is based on the real-life event of
Galwan Ghati and also co-stared by popular television actor Nishant Singh
Malkani.
