Actress Sara Ali Khan shares her own 'three levels of success'

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan Pataudi, daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan recently shared her thoughts on success after the release of her latest film, the romantic comedy 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,' which is her first theatrical release since 'Love Aaj Kal' released in 2020.

She believes that to achieve success, one has to go through 'three levels of success'. In a recent interview, she listed the three levels of success perceptional, mental, and internal. 

Sara said, "Perceptional success is the success that one achieves in the eyes of others, such as the audience or critics. Mental success is the success that one achieves when their loved ones appreciate their work and internal success is the success that one achieves when they are satisfied with their work and feel proud of it."

Sara also talked about how she feels when her loved ones appreciate her work. She said that it gives her makes her feel happy and that the 'mental success' she feels has a positive impact on her. 

She also mentioned that she is proud of her work and feels satisfied when she knows that she has given her 100% in the project. "While money and appreciation of work by the family are important, knowing that you gave the role her 100 per cent is the ultimate success," she said.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, also starring Vicky Kaushal and recently completed 30 days in theatres and has already grossed Rs 80 crore at the domestic box office.

Overall, Sara's personal experience with success seems to be deeply rooted in her own satisfaction with her work and the appreciation of her loved ones

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' is set in Indore and follows a married couple Kapil and Somya, played by Vicky and Sara, who are headed for a divorce. It was released on June 2. 

Talking about the film she said that the theme of the film was very simple. "It’s not like there are five twists and turns and you’re asking me what the biggest expense was. It’s a simple story. Being Somya with Vicky as Kapil under Laxman sir’s guidance was the most special for me," she said.

After graduating with a degree in history and political science from Columbia University, Khan began her acting career in 2018 with the romantic drama Kedarnath and the action comedy Simmba. Both films were commercially successful, and the former earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
